Academic Projects
Delicious Bites – Beginner Project (2023–2024)
My first website project, Delicious Bites, was created in 2023–2024 as an introduction to web development. It was a restaurant-themed website designed to display menu items, food images, and contact information in a clean and simple format.
I built the website entirely using HTML and CSS, focusing on creating an attractive layout, organizing sections, and applying colours and fonts that matched the restaurant theme. This project helped me learn the basics of webpage structure, styling, and content presentation.
Although it was my first project, it gave me valuable experience and motivated me to continue improving my web design and coding skills in later projects.
Academic Event – Tech Summit For Black Women Glasgow 23-03-2024
I was invited to speak at an academic event focused on Women in Technology, where I shared my personal experience studying computing and learning coding. During the session, I talked about how I developed my first website and the challenges and achievements I experienced as a student entering the tech field.
This event gave me the opportunity to inspire other students, especially women, to explore careers in technology. It also helped me improve my public speaking, presentation, and communication skills while sharing my passion for web development and continuous learning.
Morning Mood – Group Project in 2024-2025
Our group developed a website called Morning Mood, which focused on promoting a refreshing cold coffee recipe made from coffee, milk, banana, and vanilla. The project aimed to create a visually appealing and informative website that highlights the ingredients, preparation process, and health benefits of the drink.
I contributed to the design and development of the website, including layout creation, image selection, content writing, and designing the wireframe and navigation structure. This project helped me strengthen my teamwork, creativity, and technical skills in HTML and CSS.

Eco Tech Innovations – Individual Project in 2024-2025
I designed and developed a website for a technology startup called Eco Tech Innovations, based in Glasgow, Scotland. The company focuses on creating cutting-edge technology solutions that promote sustainability and reduce environmental impact. The website was designed to present information about the company, its products, and its eco-friendly mission.
The website includes features such as a photo gallery showcasing the company’s products, an option for users to book or purchase products, and a sleek, modern logo design. The logo combines a green leaf intertwined with a circuit board pattern, symbolizing the link between technology and sustainability, with green and blue colours to represent innovation and environmental responsibility.
I created the wireframe and navigation structure to ensure smooth user experience and intuitive browsing. This project allowed me to strengthen my skills in HTML and CSS, as well as in creative design and branding for a professional company website.

Paw Haven – Individual Project
I created a personal website called Paw Haven, designed to promote a friendly and safe place where pet owners can leave their dogs for care, training, and boarding. The goal of this website was to provide clear information about the services offered, booking options, and contact details for dog owners seeking trustworthy care for their pets.
I designed the banner and logo using bright and welcoming colours to reflect warmth, trust, and happiness. The logo features a paw print combined with a heart symbol, representing care and love for animals. I also developed the full layout using HTML and CSS to ensure the site is simple, responsive, and user-friendly.
In addition, I created a wireframe and navigation structure to plan the user journey — from viewing available dog care services to contacting the centre. This project helped me enhance my web design, layout planning, and visual branding skills while applying front-end development techniques.
